Why choose PropSquare DG, UPS & Power Backup Management Services?
One accountable partner, one SLA
DG sets, UPS, AMF and ATS panels, batteries, earthing, fuel and statutory compliance all sit under a single agreement with one point of contact — so you stop coordinating the generator vendor, the UPS AMC, the battery dealer and the pollution-board consultant separately, and get one owner for the outcome.
Layered power, designed together
The right answer is rarely a bigger DG — it is layered power. We design and run three coordinated layers as one system: grid and DG for long-duration common-area backup, UPS for zero-break ride-through on lifts, fire panels and IT, and battery or rooftop-solar hybrids for shorter outages and peak-shaving. When one layer is missing or poorly maintained, the whole stack collapses; we make sure it doesn't.
Predictive, not breakdown-driven
IoT controllers stream DG parameters, UPS battery health, fuel level and mains availability to a single dashboard, and battery-impedance analytics flag a weak cell before it fails on load. Daily checks, weekly test runs, monthly on-load tests and quarterly and annual services are all scheduled, not left to the day the grid actually goes down.
Statutory compliance handled for you
We manage CPCB-IV+ emission compliance, acoustic-enclosure noise limits (55 dB day / 45 dB night in residential zones), stack height and emission testing, state pollution-board registration and consent renewal, Fire NOC and Electrical Inspectorate coordination, and diesel storage licensing — with PUC and stack-emission records kept audit-ready.
Operate it or maintain it — your call
Take a pure AMC where we run scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdown support, or a full O&M / BOOT contract where our operators run the DG room 24×7, manage fuel and handle all statutory documentation. We scope the right model after the site survey rather than forcing one on you.
Across Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai
Teams on the ground in all three cities, one regional escalation matrix, and defined attendance and restoration SLAs. Multi-city portfolios are managed through a single account lead, with the same reporting format on every site.
What we cover
DG set management
We manage DG sets from 7.5 kVA single-phase home units to 2500 kVA prime-rated industrial sets — silent canopy, containerised and gas variants. Scope spans load survey and right-sizing, foundation, earthing and cabling, AMF panel and ATS synchronisation, daily and periodic checks, quarterly B-checks, annual A-checks, HSD fuel management with pilferage control, and CPCB-compliant emission testing.
UPS management
DG sets take 10–30 seconds to start; the UPS fills that exact gap and protects sensitive electronics. We select topology (offline, line-interactive or online double-conversion), size on real kW and battery autonomy, and run quarterly health checks — battery impedance, voltage and runtime tests — plus capacitor and fan schedules, VRLA versus lithium-ion planning, and 24×7 breakdown support.
Integrated power backup architecture
For most properties the fix is layered power, not more diesel. We design and manage DG-to-grid changeover via AMF with priority logic, UPS on critical loads so DG start-up never causes a glitch, rooftop-solar-plus-battery hybrids for daylight peak-shaving, and remote IoT monitoring of every DG, UPS and panel on a single dashboard.
Compliance & statutory documentation
CPCB-IV+ compliance, acoustic-enclosure and stack-height checks, state pollution-board (TSPCB / KSPCB / APPCB) registration and consent renewal, CEIG / Electrical Inspectorate clearance, Fire NOC, diesel storage licensing and quantity declarations — with quarterly HSE audit reports and organised records ready for any inspection.
Predictive maintenance & 24×7 operations
A scheduled programme — daily visual checks, weekly no-load and monthly on-load test runs, quarterly filter and coolant B-checks, annual A-checks and major overhauls every 6,000–8,000 running hours — backed by IoT alerts, a dedicated helpdesk, IVR ticketing and SLA-backed breakdown attendance.
Properties & industries we serve
Residential communities and townships (silent DG plus UPS for lifts, fire and pumps), corporate IT parks and offices (modular UPS with generator paralleling), retail and hospitality, hospitals and diagnostic labs (online UPS for OT, ICU and cold-chain with redundant DGs), industrial and manufacturing, and data centres and server rooms (N+1 modular UPS with battery monitoring).
Frequently asked questions
Which is more important — a DG set or a UPS?
Both — they do different jobs. The DG runs common-area loads for hours; the UPS bridges the 10–30 second DG start-up and protects sensitive electronics from surges, sags and frequency drift. We design both layers together rather than treating them as separate purchases.
What size DG does my apartment community need?
A typical mid-rise residential community of 150–300 flats needs a 250–500 kVA silent DG, while a large township of 1,000+ flats may need multiple 750–1500 kVA sets running in parallel. We size on actual measured load, not just flat count, after a site load study.
How often should a DG set be serviced?
Daily visual checks, weekly test runs, monthly under-load tests, quarterly B-checks, annual A-checks and a major overhaul every 6,000–8,000 running hours. We bundle all of this into the AMC so nothing depends on someone remembering to book a service.
Are DG sets still legal in Indian cities?
Yes, with conditions. Sets must comply with CPCB-IV+ emission norms, sit inside acoustic enclosures (≤55 dB day / ≤45 dB night in residential zones), have proper stack height and be registered with the state pollution control board. We handle all of this for you.
VRLA or lithium-ion batteries — which is better for my UPS?
VRLA is cheaper upfront and proven; lithium-ion lasts 2–3× longer, is smaller and tolerates high ambient temperatures better, but costs more initially. We model the total cost of ownership for both against your load and site conditions before recommending one.
Can solar power my DG backup hours?
Yes. A solar-plus-battery hybrid can significantly cut DG run-hours and diesel bills on sunny days. We integrate rooftop solar with the existing DG and AMF panel so the changeover stays seamless — figures depend on roof area, load profile and sunlight and are modelled per site.
Do you operate the DG or only maintain it?
Both. We offer pure AMC contracts as well as full O&M / BOOT contracts where our operators run the DG room 24×7, manage fuel and handle statutory documentation. We recommend the right model after the site survey.
Which cities do you cover?
We provide DG and UPS management across Hyderabad (our primary base), Bengaluru and Chennai, along with surrounding Tier-2 markets. Multi-city portfolios are managed through a single account lead with one reporting format across sites.
