Waste Management & Segregation Services in Hyderabad
PropSquare LifeSpaces Management runs waste segregation and bulk-waste compliance across Hyderabad from its head office in the city, for gated communities, apartment complexes, offices, hospitals and commercial sites. 2026 changed the rules here. The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, in force since 1 April, require every generator to separate waste into four streams (wet, dry, sanitary and special care) and treat any site with 20,000 square metres of floor area, 40 KLD of water use or 100 kg of waste a day as a bulk generator, gated communities included. New bulk generators have to process wet waste on site. An existing site that cannot do so needs the local body's exemption and then procures an Extended Bulk Waste Generator Responsibility certificate for that wet waste. Bulk generators register with the local body through the centralised portal and file an annual return by 30 June. At the same time, Hyderabad itself was reorganised into three municipal corporations (GHMC, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri), and by September 2026 the new civic bodies were identifying bulk generators and warning those that had not registered. We set the system up, run it every day and keep the records that prove it.

Why choose PropSquare Waste Management & Segregation Services in Hyderabad?
Run from our Hyderabad head office
PropSquare's head office is in Hyderabad. The supervisor who sets up your bin stations, the crew that runs the daily rounds and the manager who files the returns all work from the same city base.
Ready for the 2026 rules
The SWM Rules, 2026 brought in four-stream segregation and a wider bulk-generator definition that includes gated communities. New bulk generators process wet waste on site. An existing site that cannot do so needs the local body's exemption and then procures an Extended Bulk Waste Generator Responsibility certificate. Registration is with the local body through the centralised portal, and non-compliance can attract environmental compensation. We check where your site stands, register it, set up processing and keep the annual return on schedule.
Clear about which corporation you report to
Since February 2026, Hyderabad's civic administration is split between GHMC, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation. Western-corridor communities in Serilingampally and Kukatpally now fall under Cyberabad, and Uppal and LB Nagar under Malkajgiri. We confirm which body covers your site and keep its contacts and paperwork in order.
Composting that keeps working
Many large Hyderabad communities already own an organic waste converter that sits idle or smells. We size processing to the community's real daily wet waste, train the operators, keep the machine maintained and log the compost produced, so the system is used, not just installed.
Crews on our own payroll
Housekeeping crews employed by PropSquare, EPF and ESI compliant and supervised on site, trained to segregate correctly and to stop mixed waste at the source rather than sort it later.
Evidence, not assurances
Collection rounds, bin-room checks and processing logs are recorded against QR-coded checklists, and the monthly MIS shows quantities by stream and compost output, which is exactly what an inspector or the committee will ask to see.

Frequently asked questions
Is our gated community a bulk waste generator?
Under the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, a site is a bulk generator if it has 20,000 square metres or more of floor area, uses 40 KLD or more of water, or generates 100 kg or more of waste a day. Gated communities and residents' associations are expressly covered. Most large Hyderabad communities meet at least one test. We check yours during the survey.
What does a bulk generator have to do?
Register with the local body through the centralised portal, segregate into four streams and file an annual return by 30 June. New bulk generators have to process wet waste on site. An existing generator that cannot do so needs the local body's exemption, and then procures an Extended Bulk Waste Generator Responsibility certificate for the wet waste it does not process. Other streams go only to authorised collectors. Non-compliance can attract environmental compensation.
Which corporation do we deal with now?
Since February 2026 Hyderabad has three municipal corporations: GHMC, Cyberabad (covering Serilingampally, Kukatpally and Qutbullapur) and Malkajgiri (covering Malkajgiri, Uppal and LB Nagar). We confirm which one covers your site and keep your records in the form it expects.
Our composter is not being used. Can you fix that?
Usually, yes. Idle composters are mostly a problem of sizing, training or maintenance. We check the machine, size the load to your real daily wet waste, train operators and run it daily, logging what goes in and what comes out.
What happens to our e-waste?
Under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, bulk consumers must hand e-waste only to a registered producer, recycler or refurbisher. We set up a collection point and channel items accordingly, with receipts kept.
Which parts of Hyderabad do you cover?
We cover Hyderabad and Secunderabad across all three corporations, including Gachibowli, Kondapur, the Financial District, Kokapet, Tellapur, Miyapur, Kukatpally, Kompally, Uppal, LB Nagar and the central city.
Can we take waste management on its own?
Yes. It is a complete service by itself. If the committee later wants full housekeeping or pest control from us, that is a separate conversation, never a condition of starting.
