Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to waterproof a terrace in Hyderabad?
In the dry months before the June monsoon, ideally between January and April, so the waterproofing has time to cure. Doing it in the rains means wet surfaces and poor adhesion. We survey the terrace, fix cracks and drains, and then apply the system.
Why does the paint keep peeling on our ceiling?
Almost always because water is getting in from somewhere: the terrace, a pipe in the wall, a bathroom above or an external crack. Repainting will not hold until that is fixed. We find the source first, repair it, let the wall dry and then repaint.
Our building got a notice in the pre-monsoon survey. Can you help?
Yes, for repair work. We inspect the parapets, balconies, sunshades and plaster named in the notice, carry out repairs and keep a dated record. Anything structural, such as cracked beams or columns, needs a qualified structural engineer's assessment, and we work to their recommendations.
Can you paint while residents or staff are using the building?
Yes. We phase the work floor by floor or zone by zone, post notices in advance, use low-odour paints indoors and keep noisy work to agreed hours.
Which paint brands do you use?
Established brands such as Asian Paints, Berger, Nerolac and Indigo, depending on the finish you choose. The brand, product and number of coats are written into the estimate, with no substitution on site.
